Did you know that there are 22 million people in Cairo? That is where our trip to Egypt started and it was amazing.
The first day, we visited The Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. We went inside a narrow and deep hole inside the pyramid. It was half as tall as I am so I had to bend over, and it was SO hot.
Afterwards we got to ride Camels around the pyramid. Everyone else was scared, but I wasn’t. I was having a lot of fun. We stopped in the middle to see the pyramids from a distance and we took some really cool photos. Here are some of them.
Then we went to the sphinx. It was smaller than we thought.
The next day my dad and I went on a sunset camel ride. We rode for two hours. It was beautiful and peaceful.
We ate dinner at the guide’s house. They eat on the floor. Everyone in our family liked the food, but it wasn’t my favorite because I’m vegetarian.
We also went to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. I had fun taking a million pictures. We saw creepy mummies that were thousands of years old.
After Cairo, we went to Sharm el Sheikh. It’s a resort on the Red Sea. It was super cool because we stayed in a hotel with lots of pools. The food was included so we ate a ton! It was super fun because we got to relax all day and play at the pool.
Egypt was an exciting place! It was very different. Cairo was noisy and full of crazy drivers. The Red Sea had awesome fish and coral. The hotel was full of Russians. If you want to see someplace really different, you should go to Egypt.

I'm curious. I have heard that camels spit a lot. Did your camel spit?
Great post! Those camels were super cute!
