We went to Paris last weekend. The first day we arrived at the apartment, and then went out for dinner, but nothing too fun. The second day we went the park and went trick or treating in French! It was hard, but there was one American lady who gave out oranges with a little candy on top. Most kids don’t trick or treat in France, but we found a place where they had trick or treating in the local shops.
At night we went to a restaurant with all kinds of macaroni and cheese made with French cheeses. Mine was amazing. My parents agreed it was the best one.
The next day we went to see the sights in Paris. Paris is huge and we only got to see a small part of it. I like Paris because it was fancy. There was one fancy building after another and I even found a billboard for Gucci, one of my favorite fancy brands.
Gucci!
My mom took me to Sephora and I wanted to buy all the make-up. You could spend a lot of money shopping in Paris.
At night we went to see the Eiffel Tower.
It was so cool, but it was really crowded. At the top they only sell champagne, and I saw someone get engaged right in front of me. I think I accidentally got in the picture of their engagement! It was so crowded that my mom and I decided to walk down. The lights started flashing and we didn’t know what was going on. It was like, Party in the Eiffel Tower!
The next day was Halloween and we went to Disneyland! It was a little embarrassing wearing our costumes on the metro.
We dressed up as Disney characters. I was Elsa and my brother was Buzz Lightyear from the new movie.
They let us go to the front of the Buzz Lightyear ride since Jonah was dressed as him.
I loved the parades!
We did lots of rides. We had so much fun! And I even got to go on Pirates of the Caribbean. The day ended with a light show and shopping.
Overall, I recommend going to Paris, especially Disneyland, but I like California better and it’s easier to get to than Paris. When we were leaving we bought an amazing box of macaroons. I love macaroons, but my brother is a little tired of them. We ate a lot of treats on this trip!
I'm so glad you had a happy Halloween in Paris. How did you get up on that black and white pole? It looks like it would be a tough thing to climb. I remember climbing poles when I was your age. It is fun thing to do. Grandma C and I really miss getting to spend time with you but are happy you are having a good time in France and Spain. I would also love to see the Eiffel Tower. Can you run up the stairs to the top? Happy Belated Halloween. Grandpa C
Thanks, Alana, for “taking” me to Paris in your wonderful post about your trip to this magical city! Loved your Gucci picture(and all the others!). Keep taking me on ur adventures!!😊🌍
